POSITION DESCRIPTION: CIS Volunteers |
Key Objectives: |
To provide information, support and referral services to clients in a confidential, impartial and non-judgmental manner, at all times maintaining the clients’ right to make their own choices and decisions whilst operating within the Agency’s policies, procedures and standards and the relevant government legislation, laws and acts. |

- Caring attitude to clients and staff
- Decision-making skills
- Ability to handle issues of a delicate nature
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
- Good telephone manner

Requirements: |
Complete an accredited training course within 9 months of starting at MWCIS
Willingness to undergo training as required to maintain skills and knowledge by attending at least 75% of the ongoing training sessions provided by the agency,
Undertake an extra administrative duty as required.
Name to be placed on the roster for a.m. / p.m. duty on a regular basis
Replace absentees on the roster when possible
Ensure regular and punctual attendance as per the roster
Computer literacy is desirable
