INFORMATION FOR VOLUNTEERS

Volunteers are required to undergo a 6 week
(1 day per week) accredited training course,
usually at a local venue.
A police check is required.

Finally, our volunteers must be committed to work half a day per week
(9.30 - 12.30 or 12.20 - 3.30) and able to relieve other members occasionally and attend regular ongoing training sessions.

Applicants are requested to write

  • a brief outline of their experiences in working with other people (paid or unpaid),
  • previous positions held (e.g. welfare or counselling),
  • any office or computer experience,
  • and what days of the week they are available to work.
